2010 Missions Trips::

Dominican Republic   

Overview: Vacation with a purpose – this trips focus will be primarily a mission’s exposure trip.  If you’ve thought about getting involved in helping ministries expand the Gospel, this is for you and your family.  You’ll spend time visiting various ministries that are doing successful missions work in the DR, all the while having group discussion and listening to God speak about his plans for your life.  Then spend a few days relaxing on vacation.

• Dates: July 18 – 24
• Cost: ~$1,500
• Group limit: 12
• Activities: visiting organizations that focus in micro-finance, child survival, well digging, etc. and relaxing in the sun on the beach.

Mexico 

Trip 1: July 25 – 31 (Youth Group Trip)
Trip 2: August 1 - 8
Overview: Fly to San Diego and cross the border into Mexico, you’ll then travel 4 hours to a small fishing community on the bay. Remote beaches, dormant volcanoes and the beautiful waters of the Pacific greet you --here you will spend the next week helping the poorest of the poor distributing food, cleaning up communities and changing the lives of one family forever, building them a home. In the down times, the Pacific calls and its beaches are ready for recreation and relaxation. Surfing, water sports, and beach activities will stretch you physically while the daily lessons in leadership will stretch you mentally.

• Dates: July 25 – 31 or August 1 - 8
• Cost: $900
• Group limit: 30
• Activities: outreach to the poor, house build, relaxing on the beach.
  
   

South Africa

Trip 1: 2 weeks
Trip 2: 4 weeks (Red Rocks Sabbatical)
Overview:  You’ll fly to Johannesburg and drive to Rustenburg to work with Red Rock Church’s resident missionaries, Lincoln and Jenny Smith.  They are running a children’s shelter that supports abused and orphaned children.  There are unlimited opportunities to serve – orphanages, AIDS squatter camps, construction, medical relief, etc.

• Dates: 2 Week:  July 25 – August 8  4 Week: July 25 - August 22
• Cost: $3,500 (2 week) or $4,500 (4 week)
• Group limit: 12
• Activities: outreach to the poor, AIDS orphans, visiting Lion Park.

Haiti

Overview: As you know, an earthquake has devastated Haiti. We have been working the last two years to support Pastor Ronald through Dayspring Ministries.  Pastor Ronald has planted over 30 mountain village churches, started an orphanage and a Christian school. We are trying to schedule a medical relief trip there sometime in the near future.  As soon as we have some dates we will let you know, please be patient.
