serve

serve up and serve others
The mission of Red Rocks YA Volunteering is to create a family of servant leaders. We are here to set the table for people to encounter the living God and do our part to serve the mission of RRYA and make heaven more crowded.
prayer team
The Prayer Team is all about people; praying for them in the moment and beyond. If you find yourself spending your prayer time always bringing up others, then this team is for you!
usher team
The Usher Team knows where everything is, they help people find the right spot for them in service, and they make sure our auditorium operations run smoothly. If you’re ready to help direct the logistics of a service, this is the team for you!
welcome team
If you’re on the Welcome Team, you know all things Red Rocks Church. You’ll help greet and welcome first time guests as well as answer any questions from the regulars.
cafe team
If you know your way around a French Press, an espresso machine, or even a Mr. Coffee, then get up and get brewing on the Cafe Team! As the Cafe Team, you bring the energy, the sugar, and the Holy Spirit to service!
production team
If you are a visual learner and find yourself watching the side screen or the lighting during service this may just be the team for you! No experience necessary, just a heart to be part of the behind the scenes of service.
security response team
If you binge watch all the latest crime shows and can keep cool under pressure, then you’re a perfect (fingerprint) match for the Safety Response Team.
medical response team
In the church world, we’ve got Jesus to save people from their sins; but if you’ve got the skills to LITERALLY save people, then you’re a fit for the Medical Team!

what to wear
Come as you are – we will always be happy to see you! But if you’re looking for a bit of wardrobe guidance, look no further. We keep the sanctuary at 70 degrees, but you never know how the weather will change outside during the service. Most people dress casual, but seriously, regardless of what you’re wearing, we’re excited to meet you.
what to bring
You’re welcome to bring your Bible and/or journal and fill your travel mug with coffee and tea at our cafe. If you don’t have a Bible, we’ve got you covered! Just stop by our Welcome Center and ask one of our team members for a copy. Every once in a while we provide post service snacks, so your presence is all we expect!
child care
If you have kids, unfortunately we do not have child care for them on Thursday nights. We believe that this environment can best be fostered for kids at our weekend services at any of our church locations. Our weekend kids team is dedicated to having age-appropriate teaching, dynamic volunteer involvement, and a safe environment for your child to learn about God!
when you arrive
Once you’ve found your parking spot, head in! Our greeters will be eager to shake your hand and welcome you to our YA community. Grab yourself a cup of coffee (or if you’re fancy, tea) at our cafe station, head into the sanctuary, and sit wherever your heart desires! Although it’s tempting to sit in the back corner by yourself, we suggest getting closer to the front in the middle. You’ll get a better viewing experience and you may meet someone new!
music
On average, except two songs before service and two after. The sanctuary can get quite loud and there are lots of lights. If either of those things make attending church complicated for you, we have screens in the lobby for you to enjoy the service!
teaching
Our teaching team works hard to craft timely messages that cater the Young Adults of our church. Count on our messages running about 35-40 minutes long word! We linked a few of our favorite messages above.
lobby hangouts
After service, one of our leaders will get out on stage and make any final announcements for the night and send you on your way! If needed, head over to our prayer corner and talk with one of our awesome team members. We suggest spending some time hanging out in the lobby! We recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and connecting with new people. Head to our Welcome Center to learn about everything YA, sign up to serve, get in a group, or register for our upcoming events.
special events
Every once in a while, we’ll have some fun stuff happening in the lobby, so hang out and see. We’ll host group launches, coffee stations, food trucks, holiday celebrations and more! Follow us on Instagram to get updates on everything happening after service.
